Two Australian Agricultural Scientists visited Center for Agricultural Resources Research, CAS for academic exchanges during August 10-11, 2010. Dr. Brian Keating, the director of the National Research Flagship Suatainable Agriculture and Dr. Enli Wang, the principle research scientist at Land and Water, visited Luancheng Station for Agro-Ecosystem Observation and Research with the guidance by Dr. Yanjun Shen on the 10th. They not only learnt about the station’s standing researches and future research orientations, but also visited some ongoing filed experiments and discussed lots of the details about the filed observations with great interests. On August 11, Dr. Brian Keating and Dr. Enli Wang gave presentations on "Development in Sustainable Agriculture Research in CSIRO" and "Modelling Agroecosystems in Australia and China ", around 40 the scientists and graduate students of the Center attended the presentations and had good discussions on the agricultural resources use efficiency, productivities, and potential collaboration research areas.
